Tonight we spent the first hour of the show discussing the dark cloud surrounding the H1N1 vaccination agenda. First we discuss New York health care workers revolting over the swine flu vaccine. Those that refuse will lose their jobs. Most of them say they would rather be fired than be vaccinated. Read the local news story here - http://wcbstv.com/topstories/swine.flu.h1n1.2.1216352.html
We then go on to play a clip from the Lou Dobbs Show where he comments on this demostration. You can watch that here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiiY5hl3vko
We then discuss the H1N1 vaccination situation in New Jersey. Recently New Jersey has mandated that all children be vaccinated for swine flu or be expelled from school. Watch the clip here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EO9Hy6L1BI&feature=related.
There is a great resource available online if you are interested in spreading information regarding the H1N1 vaccine and swine flu. You can find that here - http://ipigtexas.info/
Matt also read from a local article (Dripping Springs, TX) regarding the H1N1 vaccine. The newspaper is not online so i dont have a link for ya.
I also mentioned that i would post the ingredients listed on the FDA packing inserts for the inhalant vaccine for H1N1, here they are:
sanofi pasteur: http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBloodVaccines/Vaccines/ApprovedProducts/UCM182404.pdf
In the second hour we move on to more uplifting news. Last Tuesday evening, Congressman Ron Paul appeared on The Daily Show to promote his latest book, End the Fed. The appearance capped off a full day in New York City, as earlier that day Dr. Paul participated in a book signing hosted by Borders Books and took a quick trip with supporters to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Watch the clip here - http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=25905#
The book signing and Daily Show appearance came just days after bestselling author and historian Tom Woods appeared before the House Financial Services Committee as part of the historic hearing on Dr. Paul's Audit the Fed bill, HR 1207.
As shown by that hearing, the movement expected by the establishment to just fade away after the Ron Paul presidential campaign has now officially taken the battle for sound money, transparency, and accountability right to the Fed’s backyard in Washington, D.C. It was a tremendous feeling to watch the Fed’s General Counsel Scott Alvarez have to answer question after question from representatives who clearly are receiving lots of pressure from their districts to support Audit the Fed.
From there we discuss the "Send Congress a Pink Slip" campaign. Under way just one week, 2 million "pink slips" – individually addressed notices to each member of the House and Senate, complete with sender's name and return address – are on their way to the Capitol by Fed Ex courier letting every member of Congress know there's discontent back on the home front.
Read about it here - http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=111661#
"Send Congress a Pink Slip" ensures that a brief but poignant message will be delivered by Federal Express to all 535 members of the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate on your behalf for only $29.95. Sign up here - http://shop.wnd.com/store/item.asp?ITEM_ID=3251&AD_ID=100&AD1_ID
The "pink slip" each official will get is a reminder that they work for the taxpayers. Each is individually printed with the sender's contact information under the closing salutation "Signed, Your Employer:". The warning lists four key issues that are deemed unacceptable to program participants:
- government health care
- cap and trade
- "hate crimes"
- any more spending
From there we discuss another World Net Daily article where the Feds have been sued to keep out of state's gun affairs. The complaint was filed seeking affirmation of Montana Firearms Freedom Act.
The action was filed by the Second Amendment Foundation and the Montana Shooting Sports Association in U.S. District Court in Missoula, Mont., to validate the principles and terms of the Montana Firearms Freedom Act, which took effect today.

Check out the police here on this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFYoyv2Gm1I&feature=player_embedded
We also discuss the 1999 anti-WTO demonstrations and Black Bloc. You can read about its history here on Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Trade_Organization_Ministerial_Conference_of_1999_protest_activity
From there we discuss Geraldo and his so-called "expose" inside 'Bomb University', a terror training facility in Afganistan. Watch it here - http://www.foxnews.com/video2/video08.html?maven_referralObject=10097568&maven_referralPlaylistId=&sRevUrl=http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,556183,00.html
We then move onto an article from the Associated Press titled Attorney: OKC bombing tapes appear edited. According to the article, "The real story is what's missing," said Jesse Trentadue, a Salt Lake City attorney who obtained the recordings through the federal Freedom of Information Act as part of an unofficial inquiry he is conducting into the April 19, 1995, bombing that killed 168 people and injured hundreds more.

We end the show touching on Posse Comitatus Act which prohibited the Army from engaging in law enforcement activities. We encourage you to look into it.
Sunday, September 13, 2009
We then move on to the 9/12 March on Washington and discuss the article from the UK Mail, you can read that here -
A million march to US Capitol to protest against 'Obama the socialist' Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1213056/Up-million-march-US-Capitol-protest-Obamas-spending-tea-party-demonstration.html#ixzz0R2nIOcgw
We then move onto an article by the American Thinker titled 'The Spark that Triggered Rebellion' which you can find here - http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/09/the_spark_that_has_triggered_r.html
You know, this all goes back to the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. END the FED! Which brings us to this article, 'Ron Paul Has the Council on Foreign Relations Worried' and you can find that here - http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/congress/1842
We then announce the exciting news that House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank has officially agreed to hold hearings on HR 1207. The hearings are tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 25 at 9:00 am.
Contact your representative and senators and urge them to cosponsor HR 1207/S 604 if they have not yet done so. If they have already signed on, tell them it is imperative that Audit the Fed receive a standalone, up or down vote on its own merits. Full transparency in our nation's monetary system is too important to be a minor footnote in yet another massive Washington bill, and C4L will vigorously oppose any attempts to include HR 1207 in a regulatory reform package that increases the Fed's power over our economy and lives.
You can contact them here - http://www.campaignforliberty.com/campaigns/hr1207action.php
In the last 30 minutes we then move onto our most favorite subject, Gun Control!!!
We discuss an article from Gun Owners of America titled 'Baucus Health Care Draft to Fine Reluctant Gun Owners up to $3,800' - take action here - http://gunowners.org/a091009.htm
Sunday, August 30, 2009
According to the poll, if they could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, just 25% of voters nationwide would keep the current batch of legislators. 57% would vote to replace the entire Congress and start all over again. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure how they would vote.
It goes on to state that overall, these numbers are little changed since last October. With Democrats controlling both chambers of Congress, it's not surprising to find that the number of Democrats who would vote to keep the entire Congress has grown from 25% last fall to 43% today. In fact, a modest plurality of Democrats would now vote to keep the legislators. Last fall, a plurality of Democrats were ready to throw them all out.
There is a ton more data in the article, be sure to check it out.
We then move on to comment on an opinion piece on Campaign For Liberty's website titled The Liberal Fear of Guns by Jacob Hornberger.
We then move onto an article from Gun Owners of America titled 'He Had A Gun and Nothing Happened'. This is in response to the several townhall meetings across the country where firearms were present.
According to the article, The Second Amendment was added to our Constitution to ensure that the individual right to keep and bear arms not be infringed. Infringement would impair the proper functioning of the militia which had been America’s homeland security system all through colonial times and well into our republican era.
The armed attendees made it clear that they were exercising their right to keep and bear arms. Zero tolerance of firearms has become so extreme that even a picture of a gun can get a student kicked out of school. The presence of armed citizens helps correct the notion that guns are inherently dangerous.
There are those who don’t like Americans owning guns at all, let alone carrying them openly. They can be counted on to run around squawking like Chicken Little that the sky is falling -- a calamity brought about by the presence of an armed citizen in public. We are warned that: “Somebody might grab the gun and do something bad! The armed citizen will intimidate others! Tempers will flare and blood will run in the streets!”
Read the rest ofthe article here - http://gunowners.org/op08202009lp.htm
We then talked about an uncoming event this week in Austin, Polygraph Radio Truth Tour featuring Jack Blood and the Austin, TX Revolutionary Allstars plus many others Thursday, Sept 3rd @ Headhunters. There are also many other show dates lined up across the country, check it out here - http://polygraphradio.net/musicsite/?page_id=23
We then discuss an article out of The Canadian Press by James Keller called 'New browser red-flags disputed facts on the web'.
According to the article, the current version of the software relies entirely on users to identify disputed claims, provide evidence and point the software to other instances of that claim on the web, so right now there's still not much content being highlighted.
You can read the article here - http://thespec.com/News/Business/article/626011
We ended the show mentioning the Fealgood Foundation Charity Ball on September 11th in Colts Neck, NJ. To purchase tickets or make a donation, please go here - http://www.fealgoodcharityball.com/

We also talked about the townhall meetings week before last where citizens with firearms were present and the issue of Open Carry.
William Kostric on Hardball w/Chris Matthews - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XflE0RMiIiA&feature=player_embedded
We also discussed the townhall in Arizona where a dozen or so citizens carried guns outside the convention center Obama was speaking. Read further here - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32457652/ns/politics-white_house/
Here are some good recommendations someone sent me if you do choose to open carry:
TO DO IF YOU ARE TO CARRY:
1) Locate a private property (church, business parking lot, etc) that gives you permission to be present with arms.
2) Ideally, a phone call should be made to the local police station to let them know. This was what was done in Arizona. Is it necessary? No. But it's a nice gesture and smooths relations. If you have the necessary license, they will say 'cool, thanks for informing us' and that's that.
3) If possible, go as a group of at least three or more. There are a number of reasons, both political and legal, for this. a) It's actually less intimidating to have multiple people armed than one. One person armed can make police nervous--lone gunman syndrome. Several people armed and you have a less suspicious social gathering of common interests. That's basic psychology. b) By extension, opposition thugs are less likely to attack a group.
4) Do not attempt to enter the town hall meeting itself. These are in government buildings--school zones and libraries--so a distance will need to be kept if armed.
5) Only people that have open or CCW permits should attempt this--any mistake or arrest will be used by the press.
6) Have fun and SMILE about it. A an angry fist with a gun will make the cover of Time magazine the wrong way.
We then go on to discuss some local events taking place here in Austin next weekend.
On Friday, Aug 28 Texans for Accountable Government will have their 1 year Anniversary Party with music guests Jimmie Vaughn and the Horton Brothers!. Here is more info - http://www.tagtexas.org/2/post/2009/08/tag-one-year-anniversary-party-with-jimmie-vaughn-and-the-horton-brothers1.html
There is also a "Sovereignty or Secession" Rally w/ Debra Medina at the Texas Capitol on Saturday, Aug 29th at 12pm.
At this event, they will be presenting a petition to the governor of Texas, Rick Perry and every State Representative, County Sheriff, and County Judge in the State of Texas. The subject of the petition is a return to the people our individual rights, partially enumerated in the Constitution, which have been unduly taken from us by the federal government. Sheriff Mack will be a keynote speaker among many others, including State Representative, Brandon Creighton.
To sign the petition, go here - http://drawaline.org/Sovereignty_or_Secession_Petition.htm
We then have to take a few minutes to clarify where we stand on the left/right paradigm.
In the last 30 minutes we discussed an article out of the Guardian, 'Healthy food obsession sparks rise in new eating disorder'. Evidently I suffer from this mental disorder, as I am "over 30, middle-class and well-educated" and have an "obsession with healthy eating". Read the entire article here - http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2009/aug/16/orthorexia-mental-health-eating-disorder.
We also discussed another article from the Guardian from March that Climate 'denial' is also a mental disorder! You can read the rest here - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/4953981/Climate-denial-is-know-a-mental-disorder.html
In the last few minutes I try to hit on a few of the new laws that go into effect in Texas as of Sept 1st, mainly HB537 which requires all occupants of a vehicle, no matter their age, to be secured by a safety belt, no matter where they are seated in the vehicle
HB 55 makes it illegal to use a wireless communication device in aschool zone unless the vehicle is stopped or a hands-free device isused. Cities or counties wanting to enforce this law must post a sign at the beginning of each school zone to inform drivers that using awireless communications device is prohibited and the operator is subject to a fine
HB 2730 amends numerous provisions regarding concealed handgun licenses(CHLs), including eliminating student loan defaults as a disqualifier,to clarify that DPS must suspend or revoke a license when the licenseebecomes ineligible and mandating that a magistrate suspend a CHL held by the subject of an emergency protective order.
HB 2664 provides a defense to prosecution if a concealed handgun license holder carries a concealed handgun into an establishment that gets 51percent or more of its income from the sale of alcoholic beverages, but has failed to post the statutorily required notice that it derives 51 percent or more of its income from the sale of alcoholic beverages.(Under current law, a concealed handgun licensee can be charged with aClass A misdemeanor for doing this.)
HB 2730 removes DPS authority to suspend a concealed handgun license(CHL) for the holder's failure to display the CHL to a peace officer ondemand. It removes associated penalties and suspensions for the failure to display.
HB 2730 increases the driver license sanction from a one-year CDL license disqualification to a lifetime disqualification if a person usesa motor vehicle to transport, conceal or harbor an alien.
HB 558 allows minors to be charged with public intoxication. SB 1188 authorizes a Texas resident to buy firearms, ammunition orfirearms accessories in any other state, not just those contiguous toTexas, to reflect updated federal statutes.Thats it for tonight, see ya next week.

The Army National Guard is now recruiting individuals to fill job positions described as an internment/resettlement specialist according to job postings on Monster.Com and other employment based Internet sites such as one listed here.
According to http://goarmy.com/,
Internment/Resettlement (I/R) Specialists in the Army are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility. I/R Specialists provide rehabilitative, health, welfare, and security to U.S. military prisoners within a confinement or correctional facility; conduct inspections; prepare written reports; and coordinate activities of prisoners/internees and staff personnel. Some of your duties as an Internment/Resettlement Specialist may include:
- Assist with the supervision and management of confinement and detention operations
- Provide external security to confinement/corrections facilities or detention/internment facilities
- Provide counseling and guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program
- Prepare or review reports and records of prisoners/internees and programs
You can find that here - http://www.goarmy.com/JobDetail.do?id=292
While this looks to be a posting inside a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility, there is still H.R.645 out there, the National Emergency Centers Establishment Act. So would these Internment/Resettlement (I/R) Specialists be running these Emergency Centers? You can track this bill here on http://opencongress.org/ - http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h645/show
Take a look at this Army document that describes procedures for setting up a Civilian Inmate Labor Program.
In hour 2 we begin the discussion of the Military planning for possible H1N1 outbreak. According to CNN,
The U.S. military wants to establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials. You can read it here - http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/07/28/military.swine.flu/
We also played a video from Fox News where they discuss it as well, watch it here (profanity at the end of the video, but it's the only clip we could find of the broadcast) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtGofsHaj3M
There is also a paper written by Michel Chossudovsky titled 'Martial Law and the Militarization of Public Health: The Worldwide H1N1 Flu Vaccination Program' which can you read here - http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=14543
"The flu season is upon us. Which type will we worry about this year, and what kind of shots will we be told to take? Remember the swine flu scare of 1976? That was the year the U.S. government told us all that swine flu could turn out to be a killer that could spread across the nation, and Washington decided that every man, woman and child in the nation should get a shot to prevent a nation-wide outbreak, a pandemic." (Mike Wallace, CBS, 60 Minutes, November 4, 1979)
Baxter International is supposed to be the maker of the vaccine, but dont forget - 'Baxter: Product contained live bird flu virus', read that here - http://www.torontosun.com/news/canada/2009/02/27/8560781.html
Sooo, the same maker of the vaccine coming to you in the Fall is the same maker that was caught putting live bird flu virus in their vaccines in February.
We finish the show discussing the new series on Discovery called The Colony. Here is the bio from Discovery:
What would you do in the wake of a global catastrophe? How would you find food? Water? Shelter?
The Colony is a controlled experiment to see exactly what it would take to survive and rebuild under these circumstances. For 10 weeks, a group of 10 volunteers, whose backgrounds and expertise represent a cross-section of modern society, are isolated in an urban environment outside Los Angeles and tasked with creating a livable society.
With no electricity from the grid, no running water and no communication with the outside world, all the volunteers have to work with are their skills and whatever tools and supplies they can scavenge from their surroundings.
Experts from the fields of homeland security, engineering and psychology have helped design the world of The Colony to reflect elements from both real-life disasters and models of what the future could look like after a global viral outbreak.
Over the course of the 10-week experiment, the Colonists must work together to build the necessities of survival, such as a water-filtration system, a battery bank that powered their electricity, a solar cooker, a shower system and a greenhouse - and even some niceties (a coffee maker!).
Watch the trailer here - http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/colony/colony.html?sicontent=0&sicreative=4045505073&siclientid=3429&sitrackingid=80055074&campaign=GGLthe+colonyColony+-+AloneGGL+TC+-+Branded+-+Show+-+Alone

We then go on to discuss the recent actions by our Governor, Rick Perry. In an article written by the Dallas Star Telegram, Perry raises possibility of states' rights showdown with White House over healthcare. Evidently Perry is trying to attract the attention of the 70,000+ Texans that voted for Dr.Ron Paul to be the Republican candidate for the 2008 US Presidential Election. You can find the article here - http://www.star-telegram.com/804/story/1504240.html

Sunday, July 19, 2009
We then go into the most important topic tonight which is the US Senate to consider Right to Carry Reciprocity Amendment early next week, possibly Monday...According to Gun Owners of America,Senators John Thune and David Vitter are the sponsors of S. 845 -- a bill that will establish concealed carry reciprocity amongst the several states.Senators Thune and Vitter offered the bill as an amendment (#1618) to the Department of Defense authorization bill (H.R. 2647).HR 2647 can be found in its entirety here - http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h2647/show
This provision will use the constitutional authority allowing Congress to enforce "full faith and credit" across the country, so that each state respects the "public acts, records, and judicial proceedings" of every other state (Article IV).The benefit of the Thune/Vitter legislation is that -- unlike other, competing measures -- it would protect the right of any U.S. citizen to carry out of state (regardless of whether he possesses a permit), as long as he is authorized to carry in his home state. This is important because of states like Vermont and Alaska, where residents can carry concealed without prior approval or permission from the state... in other words, without a permit!
Go to GOA's "Take Action" page and fill out the info to send a pre-written letter to your Senators - http://capwiz.com/gunowners/issues/alert/?alertid=13750856
Completely changing topics we go into Mysterious, Glowing Clouds Appear Across America’s Night Skies, article found here - http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2009/07/nightclouds/
No, this isnt aliens. Its more global warming, evil CO2 propaganda. We also referenced National Geographics article from 2004 'Earth's Magnetic Field Is Fading', found here -http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/09/0909_040909_earthmagfield.html

We then go into CNS News article, Health Care Bill Will Fund State Vaccine Teams to Conduct ‘Interventions’ in Private Homes, found here - http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=51115
According to the article, the committee’s official summary of the bill says: “Authorizes a demonstration program to improve immunization coverage. Under this program, CDC will provide grants to states to improve immunization coverage of children, adolescents, and adults through the use of evidence-based interventions. States may use funds to implement interventions that are recommended by the Community Preventive Services Task Force, such as reminders or recalls for patients or providers, or home visits.”
The 'official summary' can be found here on page 14 of 22 - http://help.senate.gov/Maj_press/2009_07_15_b.pdf
We end the show with good news, Texas Attorney Greg Abbott has filed a brief with the US Supreme Court - along with 32 other states, to defends Americans’ right to keep and bear arms.According to the release,
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott today filed a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court that defends Americans’ right to keep and bear arms. The amicus brief, which was filed on behalf of 33 state attorneys general, supports a legal challenge by Otis McDonald, a community activist who lives in a high-crime Chicago neighborhood. McDonald’s work to improve his neighborhood has subjected him to violent threats from drug dealers, but city ordinances prohibit him from obtaining a handgun to protect himself. The state attorneys general argue that cities cannot simply ignore the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and impose a blanket ban on handguns.
“Last year, the Supreme Court of the United States struck down the District of Columbia’s handgun ban and held that the Second Amendment protects individual Americans’ right to keep and bear arms,” Attorney General Abbott said. “The brief filed today urges the nation’s highest court to hear community activist Otis McDonald’s challenge to an ordinance that prohibits him from possessing a handgun to protect himself from the criminals he has worked to eradicate from his high-crime neighborhood. Today’s amicus brief reflects an effort by more than thirty attorneys general to defend law-abiding Americans’ constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.”
The states’ amicus brief says: “The right to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment is not just a ‘fundamental’ liberty interest. In the Anglo-American tradition, it is among the most fundamental of rights because it is essential to securing all our other liberties. The Founders well understood that, without the protections afforded by the Second Amendment, all of the other rights and privileges ordinarily enjoyed by Americans would be vulnerable to governmental acts of oppression.”
According to the states’ amicus brief, the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution applies to states under the Fourteenth Amendment, and the right to keep and bear arms is a right that states have long recognized. In fact, 44 state constitutions protect their residents’ right to bear arms. The brief adds: “The submission of this amicus brief provides further evidence of the States’ understanding of the fundamental importance of the arms-bearing right guaranteed by the Second Amendment.”
“Just as local governments cannot constitutionally act as ‘laboratories’ for initiatives to abrogate their citizens’ right to free speech or their freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures, nor can they nullify the fundamental right to keep and bear arms secured by the Second Amendment,” the amicus brief states.
The states’ amicus brief acknowledges that some firearms regulations are permissible, including in circumstances where they are necessary to prevent violent felons from owning guns. The states ask the U.S. Supreme Court to hear both the McDonald case and National Rifle Association of America Inc., et al v. City of Chicago, Ill., et al.
The states that joined Texas in the amicus brief are: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.

In the 2nd hour we discuss a few bills that we need you to call your US Senators on now that they are back to work.
The first act is the Pass Act S.1261, according to an article on infowars.com,
The senate committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will be considering the legislation very soon.
The PASS Act does not repeal the Real ID Act. It does repeal provisions of the Real ID Act; those provisions that are included in Title II of the Real ID Act 2005. The Real ID Act is still intact and is federal law.
The PASS Act contains many of the most egregious aspects of the Real ID Act; including the requirement for a digital facial image/photograph that will be mandated to be internationally facial recognition compatible.

After this we discuss the current situation in Iran. We didnt really reference too much on the internet, this is from watching the "news" all morning on Fox. We also discussed the poll they displayed regarding countries that pose a threat to the US, with North Korea at the top with 38%. We also read a short article from the AP regarding the possibility of a missile test by N Korea over the 4th of July weekend.
here is the piece -
WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Robert Gates says he's positioning defenses near Hawaii just in case North Korea fires a missile across the Pacific toward the island state.
Gates says he's sent the military's ground-based mobile missile system to Hawaii, and positioned a radar system nearby. Together the systems theoretically could detect and shoot down a North Korean missile if it came to that.
Gates says the U.S. is watching the North's moves very closely. He says there is concern about a potential launch toward Hawaii, although he did not spell out how extensive the U.S. thinks the threat might be.
A Japanese newspaper reported Thursday that North Korea might fire its most advanced ballistic missile toward Hawaii around the Fourth of July holiday.

This brings us to discuss this weeks Regulatory Plan by Obama that will strengthen the Federal Reserve. According to The Wall Street Jourmal Online,
A movement is spreading in Congress to force the Fed to disclose the identity of institutions that borrow from the bank, a move officials say would discourage firms from seeking needed emergency funds. A large group of House members is pushing to audit the Fed.

This also took us to NASA acknowledging the Solor Cycle, not man, responsible for past warming.
"Some researchers believe that the solar cycle influences global climate changes. They attribute recent warming trends to cyclic variation. Skeptics, though, argue that there's little hard evidence of a solar hand in recent climate changes."
You can find the entire article here - http://www.dailytech.com/NASA%20Study%20Acknowledges%20Solar%20Cycle%20Not%20Man%20Responsible%20for%20Past%20Warming/article15310.htm
Suprisingly we spent the first hour of the show on various global warming, green, save the earth commentary - as both of us think this "Green Revolution" is going to be another way to tax us. We were on the "green" bandwagon WAY before all this came around and its a bit annoying now.
In Hour 2 of the program, we went back to our major topic of last week's show, Judge Sonia Sotomayor. Evidently she is a member of the female version of Bohemian Grove. Coming to us from Politico.com, 'Sotomayor found friends in elite group'.
Belizean Grove is an elite but little-known women's-only group.
The group — which on its website describes itself as “a constellation of influential women who are key decision makers in the profit, nonprofit and social sectors; who build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships in order to both take charge of their own destinies and help others to do the same” — hosts periodic meetings around New York, as well as an annual off-the-record three-day retreat in Central or South America at which its members attend cocktail parties with U.S. diplomats and host-country officials and participate in panel discussions on public policy and business affairs.

We also mentioned the failing anti-gun strategy of the Obama Administration through the Congress, so now they are trying to stack the Courts with "liberal anti-gunners" - according to the Citizens Committee to the Right to Keep and Bare Arms. That article can be found here - http://www.ccrkba.org/pub/rkba/press-releases/court.stack.htm
We move to brighter news, like 'Despite Recent Violence, Gun Laws Are Softening' featured on Parade.com. There is also a poll on the article titled "Should states loosen restrictions on guns?" Go to http://www.parade.com/news/intelligence-report/archive/despite-recent-violence-gun-laws-are-softening.html for the article and poll.
According to the article,
'Gun-control advocates argue that weakening laws is disastrous. While it wouldn't necessarily lead to more mass shootings, they say, it would almost certainly increase the number of gun-related murders in the U.S. There are currently more than 11,500 each year, and America has one of the world's highest firearm homicide rates. Per capita, our rate is 39 times greater than that of England, 13 times Australia's, and 6 times Canada's.'
This leads us to an ABC NEWS article claiming a 'River' of U.S. Guns Also Flows North of the Border. According to the article,
"These guns are causing people to die on the streets of Toronto, and they come about because the U.S. gun laws are so lax, and it's very difficult to stop the guns at the border," Toronto Mayor David Miller says.

In the first hour of Come and Take It Radio, we discussed a piece titled The Truth About La Raza, found on freerepublic.com. That article can be found here - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2259903/posts
Key pieces from this article include:
Behind the respectable front of the National Council of La Raza lies the real agenda of the La Raza movement, the agenda that led to those thousands of illegal immigrants in the streets of American cities, waving Mexican flags, brazenly defying our laws, and demanding concessions.
Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.
This is totally opposed by MEChA for the hordes of illegal immigrants pouring across our borders, to whom they say:
"Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we...should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot...Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas ... It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny." (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006)
MEChA isn't at all shy about their goals, or their views of other races. Their founding principles are contained in these words in "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan" (The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan):
"In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny. ... Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans. ... We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan. For La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada."
That closing two-sentence motto is chilling to everyone who values equal rights for all. It says: "For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing."
MEChA and the La Raza movement teach that Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon and parts of Washington State make up an area known as "Aztlan" -- a fictional ancestral homeland of the Aztecs before Europeans arrived in North America. As such, it belongs to the followers of MEChA. These are all areas America should surrender to "La Raza" once enough immigrants, legal or illegal, enter to claim a majority, as in Los Angeles. The current borders of the United States will simply be extinguished.
This plan is what is referred to as the "Reconquista" or reconquest, of the Western U.S.
Here is another link that gives a great background on what MEChA, Aztlan, and RAZA are and it can be found here - http://www.mayorno.com/WhoIsMecha.html
We also talked about the Plan of San Diego, where you can find more information about that on the Handbook of Texas Online - http://www.tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/PP/ngp4.html
We also detailed the Native American Tribes of Texas, California, and many other states that are listed in this Reconquista plan. Funny, there were no Aztec tribes in any of these states. Those tribes can be found here - http://native-languages.org/texas
In Hour 2, we moved on to Judge Sotomayor's Second Amendment views.
We discussed the article 'Sotomayor's Gun Control Positions Could Prompt Conservative Backlash' found here - http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/28/sotomayors-gun-control-positions-prompt-conservative-backlash/
We also discussed Kurt Nimmos article 'Sotomayor on the Supreme Court: A Gun-grabber’s Dream Come True' which can be found here - http://community.kdvr.com/_Sotomayor-on-the-Supreme-Court-A-Gun-grabbers-Dream-Come-True/BLOG/294174/96399.html
AND FOR SOME GOOD NEWS!
HCR 50 in Texas passed the House, 99 yay 36 nay 4 present, not voting and has been placed in the Senate. Woo Hoo!!
Proposal Stopping Confiscation Of Guns Now Law (Tennessee) (AP) NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A person who legally possesses a gun would not have it seized during periods of martial rule under a proposal that has been signed into law by the governor. The measure was signed by Gov. Phil Bredesen on Thursday and takes effect immediately. Sponsors say martial rule is the same as martial law at the federal level. They say the law is necessary after law enforcement in New Orleans went door to door seizing weapons in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Republican Sen. Jack Johnson of Brentwood, one of the sponsors, has said he doesn't expect such behavior in Tennessee, but believes legislation should be in place just in case.
